So, UK-savvy flisters... What are your thoughts about coach travel, specifically between London and Leeds? Should I do it/consider it? I'm planning on getting a 16-25 railcard today or tomorrow (Yes, reposoir, we can get them!), but like, if it's easier to travel by coach, idk...:| I know it's cheaper and takes about twice as much time...I don't know if it's worth paying £20 more to take off two hours of the journey. :3333 + I am possibly going to have a courtesy name soon. I'll keep everyone updated since this is something that matters a lot to me. :3 + I discovered Bacardi Breezers Monday night, which was like...a fizzy drink. I like it, but now I am like why would I pay more monies to buy a drink that has alcohol when I could get something non-alcoholic that is just like it. idg the appeal of alcohol, but maybe that's because I have the Asian flush that is potentially carcinogenic and uh extremely toxic to my body. + Meme time! :P If you saw me in a police car, what would you think I got arrested for?

OH MY HOLY FUCKING CRAP MY LAPTOP IS BACK It is baaaaaaaaack. After a protracted period of warranty repairs, exacerbated by my apparent inability to deal with billing problems in a timely manner, my terrible snookums is back. I'm still probably going to continue to be kind of scarce around here, on account of OMGWTFJOBSEARCH and theeeeesiiiiiis. In fact, ( gratuitous to-do list time! )And okay, I watched the last two Merlins and ( my thoughts are simple. )I keep thinking I want to read or write fic for Ocean Girl, but of what? Because it's a closed canon with this grand mytharc or whatever, I wanna wait until I finish watching it before I start fiddling around. ( Here are some Ocean Girl bunnies anyway. ) I'm wondering now if I ought to reapply for Yuletide with Ocean Girl. Speaking of Yuletide blips, the Jonny Quest and The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest both have Jessie Bannon on their characters list when she only appears in the latter. I'm only signed up for the former. Is it worth it going back and signing up for both? How much do I want Jonny/Jessie/Hadji OT3 action? Watched the V pilot. It looks promising, or maybe I just have a huge crush on Juliet Elizabeth Mitchell. I also have to finish up the '7 days of joy' meme that I started like 2 months ago. 1. I am going to write a story called Fire on the Exhale, which is a shooting reference for those who don't spend too much time watching the Military Channel. 2. I don't think I'm doing yuletide this year, which will be the first year since it started that I haven't signed up, but I just don't have it in me. I am kind of sad about this, but I have to prioritize. 3. Dear White Collar, The idea is that the shows are supposed to get BETTER as you go along, not worse. Each episode from the pilot has gotten progressively less interesting and more bland. Despite popular belief, you cannot hold my interest on looks alone. Looks are meant to enhance, like a very nice hat, they cannot be the sole substance. Fail, man. You also can't magically exchange one minority for another and not expect anybody to notice. You are on notice. Clean up your act or we're over. No love, X This once again leaves me with ZERO shows until January 12. Oh my god, Cooper and Ben and Lydia hurry up. 4. I am looking for music. I'm interested in trying out anything by Colin Hay (I have waiting for my real life to begin and I just don't think I'll ever get over losing you) and Iron & Wine (I have Sodom, South Georgia, AB's Song, Flightless Bird, and a few others) so, if you have a favorite, please feel free to share it! I am also looking for Big Brovaz 'Favourite Things', New Edition's Heart Break album, and the Double CD of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Uh, this is going to be a bit embarrassing. Ages ago I asked for a beta reader for a fic, but somehow I never posted the final result. I remember vaguely struggling with some last details, and things led to things, and in the end I simply forgot. I feel really bad about that since my beta-reader did such a great job. I've just watched FlashForward 1x07. I won't spoil you but let's just say it crushed me. This show is so damn good and yet so heart-breaking. (Like the last book I've read: Thirteen reasons why. I've been using One Piece wallpapers lately, and I was in a Luffy mood, so I used this.
